Are you professional photographers?
Absolutely! That is why we can guarantee you a very personal service and arrange our diary around your needs. Dan Fox Photography LLP is a Limited Liability Partnership, registered in England and Wales No OC340098.
You wouldn’t employ a caterer just to make the starters, would you?! We believe that a wedding day is just that: a whole day. To tell your whole wedding story Judith and Dan will be there for the whole day capturing your morning preparations to the evening celebrations.
How many pictures will you take?
The beauty of digital photography is that we never have to worry about developing costs or running out of film. So, we're not afraid to keep on clicking! On a full day we expect to take at least 1000 pictures, the best 75 – 120 will be used in your album.
How do you cope with the weather?
We tried to control it a couple of times, with little success! Now we accept the weather for what it is and make the best of it! Whilst we bring a number of white umbrellas, if the weather really is showing its worst side we offer to reshoot the bridal pictures the following day at no extra charge.
Do you charge for retouching?
Digital photography (and film-based photography, for that matter) does not end when the shutter is released. Computer-aided manipulation (like dark-room development) is an integral part of the creative process and therefore you can expect that subtle retouching is included in the price. If you have a specific request then we will try to accommodate it at no extra charge.
Do you shoot from a list?
Nothing is set in stone; every wedding is different and that should show from your album! Following our initial consultation, we will visit both the wedding venue and the reception venue. For inspiration, we will take some test shots, make detailed notes and create a list of possible locations and/or poses to be used.
But I would like some formals!
Of course, you want to make sure everyone important to you is photographed. If a formal line-up is what you want we can arrange that. However, we take pleasure in challenging the norm in wedding photos. With your permission, we can get creative with formal shots – providing some entertainment which goes beyond, “Smile, please” or, “Say ‘Cheese’!”
I have a limited budget.
As do most couples! Our aim is to give you the highest quality at an affordable amount. The cost depends purely on which album you select – and you can even choose after your wedding day. Initially we require just the £295 booking fee, which will be taken off the final amount. To help you out even further, we’re more than happy for you to pay the balance in two instalments by cheque, bank transfer, credit card or online.
Can we order additional copies of the album?
With pleasure! With the artwork already done for your original album, copies for your parents are a great ‘thank you’ gift at £295. If you order before you go on honeymoon, you can all enjoy your albums together when you get back. (Delivery is approximately 3 to 4 weeks from when we receive your payment.)
How much do individual prints cost?
A photo of them looking fantastic is a lovely, personal way to thank your attendants. Up to A4 size, each print costs £19.50. Prices for larger sizes, canvasses and framed prints can be quoted on request.
How far do you travel?
Anywhere and everywhere! We’re happy to pick up the tab for events in England and Wales but would have to discuss expenses for international travel.
Are you insured?
Yes! Dan Fox Photography LLP is fully covered by Public Liability Insurance.
